‘Devil May Cry 4’ - Are you familiar with the name? I know, most of the Xbox 360 owners will say ‘yeah…. we’re’. Well, for the guys with ‘nay’, I’ll tell, what Devil May Cry 4 is.
Devil May Cry fans know what they expect from the action series: they look for fast paced action sequences that require solid timing instead of button mashing.Dante is one of the most iconic characters in gaming.
Since 2001's
Devil May Cry, both sequels and prequels have told the story of this half-man, half-demon and his one-man approach to ghost-busting. Debates still rage on online as to which DMC game's the best, and when the dust clears it's debatable as to whether or not Devil May Cry 4 will be considered a serious contender. Even so, it's an enjoyable run through the world of demon slaying. It's significantly more fulfilling than the disappointing
DMC2 even if it's not quite the leap forward that
DMC3 was (or at least, the rebalanced
Special Edition was).
It's tricky to talk about the game without giving away any spoilers, since the plot hits you right from the beginning. You'll take on the role of Nero, a young member of The Order of the Sword. The Order is a shadowy group that worships Sparda, the rebellious demon knight who rebelled against Hell and fathered Dante. He's got a demonic right arm that gives him special abilities, plus weapons that feel like new variations on Dante's trusty swords and sidearms. Certain events lead to Nero hunting for Dante, and you'll encounter many serpentine plot twists throughout the adventure. Halfway through the adventure you'll take over as Dante, who's got a few new tricks up his sleeve.
DMC4 succeeds on many levels because it fuses fan service with entertaining gameplay. You'll spend most of the fifteen-odd hours (give or take, depending on your skill and difficulty level) as Nero, who's a lot of fun to use. You might end the game scratching your head about a few odds and ends within the plot, but overall it's great to see Capcom add another character that isn't temporally limited like
DMC3 SE's Virgil. You'll want to play as him again. Between the Red Queen, a sword that he can rev like a Harley or the Devil Bringer, the arm that grabs or tosses enemies, Nero brings something fresh to the franchise. He's the best element of the game by far.
Pandora, a suitcase bursting with doom, is one of the best DMC weapons yet, an explosive bow, machinegun, rocket launcher and laser cannon all in one. Great stuff. It's also worth noting that whether you play the game on PS3 or on Xbox 360, there's going to be something that gets on your nerves, and that's beyond the annoying industrial-meets-butt-rock soundtrack. We've documented the ergonomic issues we had with the 360 version in the past, and you'll undoubtedly want to go in and custom-configure your controls for targeting, as the Right Bumper is highly uncomfortable if you've been playing DMC for years on Sony consoles. Also, since you won't have the option to install game data to the 360 hard drive, load times are a little longer than on PS3, though hardly unbearable.
Visually,
DMC4 is a dynamo. The action seldom dips below sixty frames per second, and although the game recycles a lot of its artwork, from stages to waves of the same villains, it's still a gorgeous game. From the snowy peaks of the Fortuna Hills to the mysterious forests where both demon hunters must do battle to the Tuscan-inspired town of Fortuna, each stage has a look that's as distinguished as it's detailed. It's also worth noting that the cinematics that pepper the storyline look amazing. The dialogue and voice acting get a little cheesy sometimes, but the cut-scenes are visually dazzling enough to cast those concerns aside. The epic introductory movie is among the best we've seen in a Capcom game.
DMC4 also marks a movement into online for the first time. Granted, there's no multiplayer, but you'll be able to check your ranks against other players worldwide. Are you insane enough to nail SS on Dante Must Die-level difficulty? After six years and one nasty stumble, the DMC series continues to offer polished, high-octane action and
Devil May Cry 4 is no exception. The gameplay gets a refreshing shot in the arm thanks to the shift away from Dante and toward the new character Nero. It's not without some flaws, though.
I think, after reading about the ‘Devil May Cry, you’ll be eager to download (if you’ve not already played it). Just become a member and have an access to hundreds of gamesfor free.
I’ve already joined it and have downloaded several PS3 and Xbox 360 games, including the brand new ones. I love to play games and that’s why I purchased Xbox 360 last year? But, I was soon fed up with the same games and buying new DVDs was pretty costly. How to have new PS3 games? This was the question and I was anxious to find the best way to make my Xbox 360, an updated one. I tried several websites which were offering free PS3 and Xbox 360 games, but they’re nothing more than just fakes. I joined one of those (websites offering free downloads), they got my e-mail ID and send me a confirmation e-mail of their membership. Very excitedly, I was ready to download…. But what it was? They asked me to pay high shillings if I wanted to have an access to free PS3 and Xbox 360 games. I really don’t know what do they meant by ‘Free’?
Then, one of my friends suggested me this website. I joined it reluctantly (considering my past experience). But luckily, I was safe and was not in the hands of charlatans. After availing their membership. If you also want to have an access to free PS3 Xbox 360 games, click here Free download Devil May Cry 4 to be a member and start downloading.
